FTC announces 2008 changes to the Federal CAN-SPAM Act.

Any responsible email marketer is aware of the Federal CAN-SPAM Act of 2003. The FTC has announced four minor changes to the act. Here are the changes and how they might have an impact on some email marketers. 1. Sender list owners needs to be in the “from” line. Study finds average age of Internet technology entrepreneurs is 39 years old.

A study conducted with funding from The Kauffman Foundation by researchers from Harvard and Duke University found the average ago of Internet entrepreneurs is 39 years old. This research shows there were twice as many entrepreneurs older than fifty than those who were younger than twenty-five.
