Google is launching, “Google Suggest“. It appears to work somewhat similar to Yahoo’s search suggestions. According to Google here are the improvements Google Suggest brings.

Google recently launched Google Insights for Search, a tool that helps businesses understand unique searcher behavior at a more detailed level than previously provided. The tool offers statistics based on search volume and search patterns. Researchers can compare seasonal trends, geographic distributions, and category-specific searches, and can group all these variables together to understand some very specific search patterns. This new tool also allows researchers to view “rising searches” overall or it allows monitoring of specific filters the researcher has set up.
