I’ve been an online marketer for almost ten years now. I attended my first Internet marketing conference back in Las Vegas in 1999. The keynote speakers at that conference were Cory Rudl (who has since passed away) and Marlon Sanders. These guys were and are the kings of marketing automation and direct marketing via online sales letters. It was a very interesting conference and I learned a lot. Since then I’ve been to a number of conferences and many of them I felt I knew as much or more information than the so called expert presenters.
Recently I attended the Online Marketing Summit in San Diego hosted by Aaron Kahlow. I was very impressed with the presenters, the information provided and the flow of the conference. With the exception of the presentation provided by Business.com, I learned a number of interesting things which I could apply to my business and that of my clients. This conference is primarily meat and potatoes. If you are an online marketer, I highly recommend attending their first 2009 online marketing summit which is going to be held in San Diego from February 4 – 7th, 2009.
