In my 14 years of working with customers on the Internet, I have never dealt with a service provider worse than Cherie Young of Online Marketing Strategies and Cherie Young.com. I have so many examples of this ineptness as well as her devious nature, I cannot possibly list them all here. However, if you are considering doing any kind of business with Cherie Young of Online Marketing Strategies for real estate website design or any other project, I would recommend going to a dentist and getting a root canal without anesthesia before I would recommend working with her. I maintain a long list of under references of unhappy customers and complaints that I would be glad to share with you if you want to do real due diligence before spending a dime with this service provider. Daryl, I know where you are coming from. Cherie does great work, artistically. However, from a business perspective, she is a really bad listener and frankly, just does not play fair. We paid her good money for the site. Cherie was not willing to work to a written contract. When she was finished, we were forced to use her service for web hosting and her fee was nearly 10 times what GoDaddy charges per year.
Unfortunately, her server was in-secure as well. A hacker from Russia wrote encrypted code in my site’s index.php file giving them access to sensitive data and destroyed the functionality of the site in terms of being able to log on from google searches, which, by the way, was landing people on page one, thanks to YOU Daryl.
She is bad, really, really, bad. She told me that the problem I am experiencing on my site is from your blog. I don’t really understand this but maybe you can clear it up. How in the world could a Russian Hacker get into my site through your blog and write malicious code in my index.isp file?
It is a shame that she acts like this. YOU Daryl, are one of the most knowledgable, professional, and loyal associates I could ever hope to work with and know your other customers feel the same way. Let’s move on….

It is impossible for my blog which is on a different server to impact your site. In fact there are no links from my blog to your site! I guess Cherie believes if she baffles you and everyone else with enough bull shit then it will be true. I’m sure over the coming months, others who have been displeased with her services will be responding to this post too. My only goal here to protect others from making the same mistake we did by working with her and protect my own name from the slanderous comments she is making to others about my company and my services.
When a person calls you and pretends to be a friend and then turns around and not only stabs you in the back but then lies to shared clients about, “”offshore SEO firms, supposed SEO hacking and more”, this person must be put on notice that spreading lies just to get more business is unacceptable and lacks real character.
Even worse is when they claim that someone like myself who has been doing SEO for 13 years and has a perfect reputation in the industry is using old outdated techniques and the exact opposite is true! Their lack of knowledge about standard SEO practices is so appalling that it will hurt client’s sites and give the SEO industry a bad name. I cannot in good faith let these lies, the conniving and dishonest scheming go on anymore. Anyone who behaves in this manner deserves to be called out and potential clients should be warned.
Same thing happened to me…promises, promises promises and no delivery.
BEWARE This woman did not deliver on her contract with me…she probably will do the same to you!
I have been embroiled in a 3 year conflict with her and now she has taken my site completely down. I have paid her exactly what she requested to be paid and am out $3000 now. My site never was finished, it never looked right or performed correctly. At this point I will be taking her to small claims court and contacting the BBB. I only hope that I can save someone else from the torment that she has put me and my company through.

It is now May 14, 2013 and I’m still getting calls from new Cherie Young has ripped off. As per my original post, beware doing business with this person. Now she has stooped to trying to slander me. I have no problem with that as no one would ever believe any of the lies this woman perpetrates. Buyer beware, you will regret doing business with this woman.
