My original content posts are based on questions I receive from potential clients and visitors to my website. This is probably the most common question I receive. Unfortunately this common question has some very complex answers. Here is some general information on this topic.
Typically a website receives high rankings at Google when it has been online for a while. It has in-bound links related to the product or service provided. Those links come from related web site, have been in place for a while and continue to grow.
Eight years ago it was relatively easy to get good placement for competitive keywords at Yahoo (previously the most popular search engine) and Google. Today all three major search engines use complicated algorithms based on your on-page optimization and off-page optimization. It can take months or even years to break into the top ten at Google! This why if you truly want your website to go beyond being an online brochure, it is important to hire a competent search engine optimization professional who can evaluate your potential, your competition and website design.
