Google is working on delivering different results in a new update to their search engine called “Caffeine”. If you would like to try your own beta tests click here. The results many people are seeing include a lot of social media sites and Twitter in particular. I have found for transactional queries there are fewer social media results and the emphasis still appears be the relevance of the content. Please share you impressions.

Comscore.com released their latest update on the market share of the major search engines. Despite all of the hoopla Bing has created with their advertisement, their share of the search market has barely increased. This does not surprise me. Many of you read my previous comments about Bing.com and know how I feel. Bing is a bust in my opinion. However, here is what the rest of the Internet users in the United States think. “Americans conducted more than 14 billion core searches, with Google Sites accounting for 65.0 percent search market share. Microsoft Sites grabbed 8.4 percent market share,...

“You may think Google (GOOG) dominates the search market, with 63.7 percent of all searches conducted in the United States compared with Yahoo’s (YHOO) 20 percent.
