WOW….how times have changed! Today is the 25th anniversary of the cell phone. It has gone from a device that cost almost $4,000 to a one that is virtually free. Twenty five years ago I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Philippines. At that time it took four days to get a telegram to my local site from St. Louis where I grew up. Today you can text message real time from virtually anywhere in the world to the small town I lived in back in those days. In fact, the Philippines has become the largest text messaging nation in the world. You can’t conduct business in the Philippines without good text messaging skills.
